The HR Manager leads the human resource processes for the company. Develops and implements HR strategies that are in line with the company goals. Planning and managing of talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, training, coaching, employee relations, engagement, career alignment and retention initiatives. Oversee benefits, including FMLA, ADA, and 401K. Managing the HRIS system, data processing, record-keeping and overall compliance for the company. Promotes and cultivates a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  •  Align internal careers, employee development, performance monitoring, and managing the yearly performance evaluation processes.
  • Provides effective coaching, guiding and mentoring for all employees and leaders, including disciplinary processes.
  • Create and implement engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Develop and execute training programs for the company.
  • Oversees I-9 compliance and E-verifications compliance.
  • Oversees Benefits, COBRA 401K, Short/Long Term Disability, ADA
  • Manages FMLA, and Leaves of Absences.
  • Manages the H2B Program, including onboarding and housing.
  • Oversee compensation and wages for the company, including knowledge of trends and market.
  • Maintain and develop personnel policies or procedures, collaborating with leadership on changes/ enhancements, including updating the employee handbook. 
  • Manage and be a supportive liaison to employees regarding any grievances, harassment concerns, including proper investigations, conversations and actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure organization's compliance.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of all employees’ personal information.
  • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to sure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Helps maintain proper work structures by updating job requirements and descriptions for all roles within the company. 
  • Review and make recommendations to CEO for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and practices. 
  • Assist and support strategic company planning and objectives. 
  • Requires high level of interaction with all employees. Exchanging ideas, information and opinions with others to formulate policies and procedures and/or arrive jointly at decisions, conclusions or solutions.
  • Management of company internal events.
  • Recognize and track Anniversary and Birthday’s for all employees.

Chemical Applicator

Deliver outstanding customer service, as defined by the customer and account managers regarding chemical applications. Responsible for the application of pesticides within residential or business areas to lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs, park areas, and other recreational areas. Responsibilities may include snow removal services in the winter season.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivering chemical applications according to Engledow quality standards.
  • Contribute to and support others in establishing a positive work environment by tackling issues and maintaining honest, meaningful dialogue.
  • Maintain steady communication with Chemical Application Team.  Make recommendations for chemical applications.
  • Strive with others for the efficient utilization of resources and coordination of activities on clients' sites.
  • Keep current with new chemical regulations and OSHA standards in regard to chemicals. Follow all laws, regulations and certification requirements. 
  • Complete necessary paperwork for notification to client at time of service.
  • Complete necessary time sheet entry and tracking of materials for billing purposes.
  • Provide assigned winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the maintenance of Engledow client properties. This includes working with a team to complete the necessary tasks. Position includes but is not limited to: watering, weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, planting, pruning, snow removal in winter season and trash removal, and other duties as assigned by Supervisor. Provide maintenance services to Engledow customers in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining quality standards. 


Engledow Group standardized levels of safety and quality are to be met at each client location. Includes snow removal services in the winter season.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist team and Supervisor in the coordination and implementation of contracts.

· Oversee equipment use to maximize life and minimize repairs.

· Maintain properties including watering, mulching, weeding, planting, pruning, trimming

· Snow removal services in winter season, along with trash removal on specific sites

· Communicate equipment needs and issues to Supervisor using appropriate paperwork.

· Understand the needs of each client site.

· Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and with the highest level of quality.

· Attend various meetings as requested

· Participate in tailgate safety sessions.

· Assist in snow removal and help other divisions when required.

· Communicate issues or safety hazards to Supervisor

Irrigation Service Technician

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of irrigation systems at Engledow commercial clients’ properties. Maintenance and repair includes but is not limited to: repairing damaged irrigation systems, spring start up and winterization of systems, problem solving and recommendations for resolving client needs. Responsibilities will include snow removal and/or salting in the winter season. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform spring start-ups and winterizations of assigned irrigation clients

· Repair damaged systems as requested by clients

· Be creative in accomplishing the work quickly and accurately

· Maintain and complete all necessary paperwork for billing and time sheets

· Complete necessary paperwork and computer data entry required for payroll and other needed data entry

· Maintain inventories of existing irrigation supplies

· Attend necessary meetings to discuss goals and needs

· Maintain Engledow safety driving standards

· Provide winter services per the instruction of the Winter Services Manager.

Estates Maintenance Team Member:

This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of Engledow Residential clients' properties. Care and maintenance includes but is not limited to: watering, weeding, edging, trimming, mulching, pruning, assisting in mowing as needed and snow removal in the winter, planting various plant and flower material, and trash removal, while completing tasks in the most safe and efficient manner. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain properties at Engledow Estates level of safety and quality

2. Understand the needs of each respective client

3. Understanding of plants and plant materials

4. Accomplish assigned work quickly and accurately always with quality in mind

5. Complete all necessary paperwork for payroll, utilize BOSS, and/or time sheets

6. Communicate with Estates Supervisor regarding issues at properties

7. Maintain all driving and safety standards during work

8. Participation on a designated team executing snow removal during the winter months
